How late in the day can I place an order and still have it ship today?

Any order placed by 5:00 PM (local branch time) will ship the same day, provided it ships via one of our regular carriers.

Does Kanebridge have a “dollar minimum” requirement to place an order?

One carton of any item is enough to place an order.

Can I pay by credit card?

If you prefer, we can set-up your account so your standard method of payment is a credit card.

If your account has other credit terms (such as Net 30) that normally apply, but want to pay for a specific P.O. using a credit card, please contact us.

Are there any items Kanebridge is not allowed to re-plate?

What is FasNet™?

FasNet™ is Kanebridge's safe and secure online ordering system.
Customers can search for and purchase products as well as track shipments, obtain invoice copies, look up fastener specification information and much more.

Register for a pin number or contact us for assistance.

What documents can I access on FasNet™ and how do I access them?

You can obtain invoice copies, packing slips, NAFTA certifications, RoHS certifications, Certificates of Conformance and Manufacturer’s Test Reports (if applicable).

Access these documents when you log in to FasNet™ and select “Expedite Orders” from the FasNet™ menu.
Please enter the P.O. or item number to view your invoice(s) and click on the invoice number to view your available documents.

How do I access product specifications?

Product specifications are available when you log in to FasNet™ and click on "Online Fastener Reference Guide" from the FasNet™ menu.

They can also be accessed by entering the part number on the products page (you must be logged in to FasNet™). If the specifications are available for that part, there will be an “Online Reference Guide” icon next to the product information.

I forgot my pin number, how can I retrieve it?

Please contact us and we will retrieve it for you.

Where can I get tracking information on an online order?

Log in to FasNet™ and select “Expedite Orders” from the FasNet™ menu.

Please enter P.O., confirmation or the item number and click on your invoice number(s) to retrieve your tracking information.

How do I obtain an invoice copy?

Log in to FasNet™ and select “Expedite Orders” from the FasNet™ menu.

Please enter P.O., confirmation or the item number and click on your invoice number(s) to get a copy of your invoice.

How do I cancel an order online?

Orders cannot be canceled online.

What is the discount for ordering online?

Any orders placed online through FasNet™ will receive a 2% discount.

When will the 2% discount apply on my order?

The 2% discount is applied at the time of invoicing and will appear on the invoice.

How do I determine the item’s Country of Origin?

Each item number has it's Country of Origin listed on FasNetTM within the cell labeled "Origin". Customers can easily identify what parts have been manufactured in U.S.A., Canada, Mexico or elsewhere for all of the 40,000+ items Kanebridge sells.

How do I place an order for samples online?

Please contact us, we will be happy to handle your samples request.

How do I enter a quoted price online?

Any price quote that you receive will be reflected when you enter your order.

However, if it does not, enter the quoted price and the quote number in the “Enter Special Instructions for Item” before you place the item(s) to your cart.

Is there a way I can add special instructions to my order?

Enter instructions in the “Enter Special Instructions for Item” before you place the item(s) to your cart.

How do I change the carrier on an order?

There is an option to edit your shipping method at checkout.

If you have previously given us specific shipping instructions, it will be marked as “Best Way”.

How can I confirm the shipping instructions I have on file are correct?

Any specific instructions provided for shipping will be saved under “Best Way” and will appear on the bottom of your Sales Order Confirmation.

How will my order ship if I don't have specific instructions on file and leave it as "Best Way"?

If specific shipping instructions are not provided, it will automatically be shipped "Best Way" - the most economical based on weight and destination of your order (usually UPS prepaid up to 450lbs and Freight Collect through one of our contracted carriers on orders greater than 450lbs).

The trucking company I want to use is not on the list of carriers; what should I do?

If your preferred carrier does not appear, please contact us and we will add it to the list.

Is it possible for me to check for partial cartons available in all branches?

Anytime you enter an item to check stock, FasNet™ will automatically list all of the partial cartons available, the quantity in each carton and the branch in which the carton is located.

If there is no stock (regular and/or RoHS) available in my preferred branch, how can I check the other branches?

If there is no stock in the branch closest to you, FasNet™ will automatically offer you the stock from the next closest branch.

How can I enter an order with multiple release dates?

Once your order is in the shopping cart, click the date under "Ship Date" to enter multiple shipping dates.

Can I ship my order to multiple locations or by multiple shipping methods?

One order cannot be shipped to multiple locations or by multiple shipping methods.

Please place those orders separately.

I have not received my confirmation and can’t locate it online.

How can I change or remove a part number(s) that was incorrectly cross referenced in FasNet™?

Go to the products page (you must be logged in to FasNet™) and click on “Item Number Match”.

To remove a cross-reference part number, enter Kanebridge’s part number under “Item Number” and “REMOVE” under “Your Item Number”. Once you update the information, the part number will be removed.

To correct a cross-reference part number, enter Kanebridge’s part number under “Item Number” and your corresponding part number under “Your Item Number”. This will automatically override the previous cross-referenced part number.

Returns

What is your standard return policy?

Parts must be in their original boxes and in full quantities.

If the return is:
- Within 30 days: No restocking fee
- After 30 days: 25% restocking fee
- After 90 days: Returns may not be accepted

A return authorization must be obtained either online or by contacting us before making a return.

How do I request a return online?

Return request can be made on FasNet™.
Click on "Expedite Orders" and enter the P.O. or item number to view your invoice(s). Select a P.O. # from your invoice, click on the amount below "Returned Qty" and follow the instructions.

How do I ship the parts back?

Your return authorization will also include return instructions.

Who pays the freight on a return?

The customer will be responsible for the freight cost unless Kanebridge made the error.

Are there any additional charges with a return?

Items can be returned without any restocking charge within 30 days of the purchase.
Returns made after 30 days are subjected to 25% restocking fee.

How can I get replacement parts?

If you are requesting a exchange online, please make a note that the parts need to be replaced.
Otherwise, contact us for assistance.

How much time is allowed to request a return?

If the return is:

Drop-Shipping

Where can I add notes for my customers?

Notes for your customers can be entered in the “Message for Shipping Label” field at checkout.

Can I enter a new Drop-Ship address online?

Yes. An option to change Drop-ship address will be available when you proceede to checkout and asked to verify your shipping information.
Choose from an address/branch that already exists in your list or add a new address/branch.

Please note that you cannot edit an already existing address. It must be entered as a new address/branch.

My drop ship account is located at the opposite end of the country from me – which Kanebridge branch would the stock ship from?

Select the state of your drop-ship account on the products page, (you must be logged in to FasNet™). Stock will be shipped from the nearest branch to the selected state.

If you want a specific branch to ship your order regardless of location, choose one of our locations (NJ, IL, or CA) as your delivery branch.
